Vanessa Torres is an international leader with a full breadth of technical, strategic and operating experience across the value chain in the resources sector. Notably, she has led multi-billion projects, a strong track record of delivering business improvement and leading organisations up to 3500+ employees and contractors. She is currently driving South32’s digital transformation, technological innovation and capital projects as their Chief Technical Officer.
Vanessa is also a director of Foodbank WA and co-founder and main financial supporter of “Projeto Colmeia”, a not-for-profit organisation in Brazil focuses on the development of under privileged children and teenagers towards achieving their own professional dreams.
