Maria completed a Bachelor of Commerce (double major in Information Technology and Information Systems). In 2006, Maria was awarded membership on the Curtin University Vice Chancellor’s List. Membership of the Vice Chancellor’s List is awarded at the completion of each semester to the top one per cent of undergraduate students.
Since graduating, Maria has proceeded to attain over 10 years IT experience across multiple organisations from a variety of industries namely: mining and resources, oil and gas, utilities, telecommunications, health care, retail, and finance.
Maria participates in several volunteering initiatives and was recently nominated to serve as a Mentor within the Watercorp Mentorship program. Maria aspires to leverage her experiences to help others achieve their professional goals.
