About Magdalena Wajrak

Dr Magdalena Wajrak is a highly respected and internationally recognised researcher and educator in the School of Science at Edith Cowan University. She has a deep commitment and strong passion for teaching and strives to improve students’ learning through the use of authentic and novel digital technologies and various teaching strategies to create a rich and inclusive learning environment for all. Magda’s research has assisted in providing safe drinking water in Bangladesh and has applications in the medical field.
Magda has a unique ability to excite students about chemistry and become fascinated with science. Her various outreach programs have inspired, engaged, encouraged and empowered thousands of students, particularly from low socioeconomic backgrounds to study sciences at high school or University.
