Kimberley’s research aims to understand why low birth weight individuals have increased risk of diseases in later life. She completed a PhD from the University of South Australia, producing a thesis on why small babies have increased risk of cardiovascular disease. She then relocated to Western Australia to investigate why small babies have increased risk of asthma, quickly establishing a research niche within the Western Australian community.
