Software development is Kath’s second career. She used to be in office adminstration, but raising a young family provided the opportunity to assess what career direction would be most interesting for her future.
Having always had an interest in programming, she decided that answering the phone, typing letters and filing could be segued into talking to clients, typing code and keeping it organised, and so commenced tertiary study as a mature age student.
She graduated from Murdoch University with a Bachelor in Computer Science in 2018 and has been since learning something new every day.
