From engineering to small business founder, front-end developer, database nerd and customer experience advocate, Jo has a diverse tech background. Passionate about UX, data-driven decision making, cats and travel, she is also an avid maker – from 3D printing to sewing to woodworking, Jo loves combining technology and creativity to make cool stuff. As lead organiser of the Perth WordPress Meetup and Women Who WordPress Facebook community, Jo is an advocate for Women in Tech (and women in general) and provides tech support to a range of non-profits including WiTWA, Techtrails, 100 Women, The Underground Collaborative, She Codes and more. Jo can regularly be found with a microphone in hand speaking about WordPress, accessibility, user experience, imposter syndrome, and pockets.
