Intan Oldakowska

Intan is a biomedical engineer and entrepreneur focused on developing medical devices. She is a research associate at Curtin University developing a novel expandable orthopaedic screw for use in orthopaedic surgery to improve patient outcome. She is now the CSO of the spin out company called REX Ortho. She is also the co-founder and CEO of Cervical ChinUp which distributes a novel neck support device to help manage neck pain. For the last 2 years, she has taught multidisciplinary teams of clinicians, engineers, scientists and business professionals on how to innovate in MedTech as the course co-director of Perth Biodesign, and now bringing the initiative together across Australia as Director of Biodesign Australia.
