About Hannah O’Brien

Hannah graduated from Curtin University in 2021 after completing a double degree in a Bachelor of Engineering (Chemical Engineering) and a Bachelor of Science (Chemistry). Throughout her time at university, Hannah received multiple Letters of Commendation for excellent performance, was awarded the Yara Pilbara Prize for best design of a renewable ammonia plant in 2021, and five scholarships, two of which aim to support women studying a STEM related field.

In her spare time, Hannah is a volunteer firefighter and Girl Guides Australia unit helper. She enjoys participating in sporting events such as runs and triathlons and outdoor activities such as camping, hiking and off-road driving.
