About Angela Pak

Angela is the Partner in charge of the WA Technology Risk and Cyber Security practice at KPMG. Angela is a highly respected practitioner in the WA tech risk/cyber community who often flies ‘under the radar’ due to the sensitive nature of her work. Angela has recently returned to the firm after 14 months on maternity leave and it has opened her eyes to the challenges of balancing family and career. Angela is currently leading a number of strategic initiatives at KPMG to increase gender balance in a male dominated technology practice with particular focus on career planning, career progression while on maternity leave, flexible work arrangements and connected communities for female technologists. Angela is active in a number of industry groups having previously presented at conferences held by the Australian Institute of Internal Auditors, Business Continuity Institute, Australian Computer Society and Information Systems Audit and Control Association. Angela is a role model who inspires and mentors emerging leaders as well as cyber-security resources nationwide. Angela is a champion for KPMG’s Diversity and Inclusion strategy and is passionate about both gender and cultural representation in the workplace.
