Digital Transformation Perth Meetup – 30th May 2023
Bringing Diversity of Thinking to Transformation Leadership Teams

A night of compelling panel discussions awaits at the end of the month from the Digital
Transformation Perth community. On Tuesday 30th May, the group will be hosting not one, but two
panels of transformational local leaders, both joined virtually by Whynde Kuehn, Founder and
Managing Director of S2E Transformation.
In this night of two halves (bridged by drinks, food, and networking), the topics will range from why
leaders should care about diversity of thinking in transformation programs, to exploring a specific
example of how to support diversity in the architecture discipline.
The first panel will tackle the question of ‘why’. With evolving methodologies, no cookie-cutter
approach for transformational leadership, and no single greatest role model to emulate, this is an
area deserving of our attention. We need leaders who bring different perspectives and practical
approaches. We can achieve this by supporting diversity of thinking, backgrounds, experience, and
capabilities.
But how do we inspire the growth and inclusion of leaders who will bring this diversity? The second
panel will tackle this question, and this part of the night will mark Australia’s public launch of the
new global initiative Women in Architecture (WIA), of which Whynde Kuehn is Chair. WIA was
created to accelerate the pathway for women in architecture to amplify the impact of the discipline
worldwide. It is a community based on a spirit of personal growth, open exchange, mutual trust, and
helping each other.
The event is free and open to all, but registration is essential: https://www.meetup.com/perth-
