Svetlana Baltic

Dr Baltic is a molecular biologist with over 25 years of experience in clinical research and pharmacogenetics and has extensive commercial experience in product development, manufacturing and commercialisation. She is a co-founder of a WA start-up biotechnology company Gene S Pty Ltd, and a Senior Lecturer at UWA. Previously, Svetlana was the Head of the Molecular Genetic Unit at the Institute for Respiratory Health and a site lead of the international biotech company.
She published in prestigious scientific journals such as Nature Genetics, Nature Communications, Lancet, Thorax etc. and was a recipient of prestigious national and international grants and awards.
