Renee grew up in the country town of Northam, finishing her schooling at Northam Senior High School.
After graduating with a Bachelor of Education she has travelled the Wheatbelt teaching primary classes. After finding her feet, she completed a Masters in Leadership while teaching and then a Graduate Certificate in Digital Technologies. She has then used this to go out and inspire students to be their best in the space of digital technologies.
Students in her care have been supported in finding challenges to meet their own needs in a regional setting so that they may go on to be successful adults. Renee has given kids the opportunities to shine on stages far bigger than they could have imagined.
