About Michelle Chomiak

Michelle is engaging with our future professionals in forging relevant learning experiences for students in Digital Technologies and Computer Science. A previous ECAWA Digital Technologies Teacher of the Year, she uses her 15 years of IT industry experience to encourage teacher colleagues and students to embrace a growth mindset. Outside the classroom, Michelle is a member of the Australian Computer Society’s ICT Educators Committee, is a Senior Mentor with the Girls Programming Network, and has presented at the FutureSchools conference in Melbourne. She is currently studying an MEd in Digital Technologies at Sydney University to further her learning and runs a website full of free resources to help support beginning DT Teachers as they take their first steps.
