About Katarina Miljkovic

Katarina has more than 10 years of experience working as a researcher focused on impact physics, planetary science and space exploration. To date, a quarter of her academic outputs has been published in Science and Nature family journals. She is lecturing and coordinating units for Advanced Science course at Curtin University. Above all, she is a passionate advocate for STEM who frequently visits schools and delivers public lectures across Australia. Katarina in an independent and award-winning scientist. She held ARC DECRA fellowship, Australia New Zealand L’Oréal-UNESCO for Women in Science fellow and WA Young Tall Poppy of the Year. Presently, she is the Australian Research Council Future Fellow and the Australian Institute of Physics Women in Physics lecturer.
