About Ellie Coplin

Ellie is a bright, energetic 14-year-old born and raised in WA. She loves tech and is involved with Girls’ Programming Network and WA Codemakers. Ellie was a national finalist in FLL and enjoys science enrichment, robotics and coding. In her spare time Ellie designs, develops, builds and tutored Year 4-7 students in KodeKLIX – a curriculum aligned digital technology that teaches kids electronics and programming.
Ellie has an amazing imagination, likely inspired by 350+ books in her bedroom! When Ellie isn’t reading or doing tech she manages to squeeze in eight hours of weekly dance classes and has fun playing basketball. Ellie is kind hearted, supporting charities including microfinance initiatives like Kiva and fundraises for development projects for World Vision.
