WITWA Transformations

Our last event of the year was a showcase for everything WITWA had been working towards. We announced our new initiative, techtrails, a program encouraging girls and boys in remote and rural WA to consider technology careers.  We launched the techtrails program along with our new brand, a new website and a name change. Needless to say, an exciting time for us.

Because techtrails is a collaborative project, our partners from industry, government, universities, high schools, the ACS Foundation and Scitech were at our launch. KPMG generously offered their executive board room for the event with priceless views of the Swan River. It turned out to be the biggest and best networking event we’ve ever held.
