&lt;p&gt;&lt;strong&gt;Deloitte is sponsoring another What’s Hot in IT Tech Trends – Women in IT networking event, hosted in collaboration with Women in Technology WA (WiTWA) &lt;/strong&gt;and the&lt;strong&gt; &lt;/strong&gt;&lt;strong&gt;Australian Computer Society – Women (ACS-W). &lt;/strong&gt;&lt;/p&gt;

&lt;p&gt; &lt;strong&gt;Finding the Face of Your Data – How can we fuse people and technology to discover new answers in data, and new questions too? &lt;/strong&gt;&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;We’ll how human insight and intuition with machine number-crunching and visualisation can be combined in order to answer questions organisations were never able to answer before, and discover new questions organisations didn’t know they could ask. While doing so we’ll talk through some specific examples where organisations have solved critical business problems.&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt; &lt;strong&gt;Mobile Only (and beyond) – What is the enterprise potential of mobile beyond today’s smartphone and tablet apps? &lt;/strong&gt;&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;We’ll discuss how the next wave of mobile may fundamentally reshape operations, businesses and marketplaces– delivering information and services to where decisions are made and transactions occur. We’ll explore opportunities and potential challenges organisations may face while aiming for an untethered, connected enterprise.&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;&lt;strong&gt; Gamification Goes to Work – How can we embed gaming in day-to-day business processes to drive engagement? &lt;/strong&gt;&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;We’ll explore how Gamification can encourage engagement and change employee, customer and supplier behaviour, creating new ways to meet business objectives. We’ll also talk about ways to incorporate Gamification into the workplace to motivate and reward desired behaviours in today’s mobile-social world. &lt;/p&gt;

Beyond that Michelle holds   executive board positions for the  Australian Computer Society in WA, as the   WA Women’s Director, and for  WAiTTA (iAwards in WA) where she owns the Social   Media initiative,  and was a judge for the CIO of the year category.&lt;/p&gt;
