ThoughtWorks is offering a one-day Amazon Web Services (AWS) training course in both Sydney and Melbourne for developers, systems administrators and all technologists who want to embark on a hands-on deep-dive of Amazon's powerful AWS tools. Developed in partnership with Amazon, the class will lead you through the AWS infrastructure services, and show you how to architect and deploy your applications “in the cloud”.

Training information

  • •   Hands-on training day - 8:30am-6:00pm - refreshments and lunch provided
  • •   Basic Unix command line experience required. No previous AWS experience necessary
  • •   Participants need to bring their own laptop to complete the course
  • •   Price: $500 ex GST

Trainers

Andy Marks is the Market Technical Lead for Melbourne and Perth. He has worked for ThoughtWorks since 2002 as a developer, technical team lead and Agile coach.

 

Chris Bushell is a Senior Consultant, Trainer and Coach with ThoughtWorks. Chris has over ten years experience developing and architecting software for organisations of every size, from start-ups to large multinationals. Chris specialises in helping clients use cloud technology to achieve their business goals, lower costs and meet their customers needs.
