Marjolein Towler (pronounced Mar-Yolane) (Dutch-born, but Australia-based) has developed computer-generated presentation graphics and publications on a commercial basis since 1989. Since 1994, she has specialized in creating interactive media productions for private and public clients in Australia and overseas. As Project Manager, Information Designer and Creative Director her main interest is the need for effective business communication with digital technologies.

In addition, Marjolein was the inaugural co-chair of the Bachelor of Multimedia undergraduate degree programme at the School of Media, Communication & Culture, Murdoch University, Perth, Western Australia, from July 1998 until July 2000 where she developed the course from an industry perspective with emphasis on the communication aspects of the digital media technologies.

Besides running her own business, Consultas, she is currently Deputy Chair of the Film & Television Institute (FTI) in Fremantle (since 2000). She has also developed an interactive academic study book concept, Digital Workbook, with two titles on Marketing Strategy and Planning written by Dr James W Taylor (MBA level/Undergraduate Level) being used by universities in the USA, and one title on Radio Broadcasting written by Mia Lindgren and Mia Ohlsson being published in Sweden by Liber AB.
